What No One Knew
This story is dedicated to David Bowie, R.I.P. you amazing man.
Also to my sister for helping drastically change the direction that this and follow up Labyrinth stories will go. She told me how she always thought Jareth fell in love with Sarah during the course of the film and not before like I was thinking, and I realized that not only did that make a TON more sense, but it was also brilliant!
Thanks sis!
Also HUGE thanks to Vandrell for giving me permission to use this beautiful art piece as a 'cover' image!

SHERLOCK: Prequel to 'A Study in Pink'
CAST LIST:
Mycroft Holmes- Mark Gatiss
Athelney the butler- Jack May
Sherlock Holmes- Benedict Cumberbatch
So after watching the first couple of episodes, something grabbed my attention. Sherlock and Mycroft seem to be well off, so why does Sherlock need a flatmate? This is my suggestion why.
This story was conceived and written in the last few hours (honest!) and is unbeta’d. Please be kind in your criticism.

Resting in a comfortably plush chair in his study, and reading a well-worn edition of “Les Enfants du capitaine Grant”, one simply must read Verne in the original French, Mycroft Holmes allows h

Sora: Man, what strong light!
*But thanks to the magic of Sora's

Parallel Universes and We'd be Married
"In another life, I believe we might've been in love."
They spin around together, keeping in time with the music and the waves of people around them.
He looks at her and his uncertainty is clear across his face. He can't decide whether she is trying to make a joke or crazy.
The look on her face is in all seriousness. He decides once again that she is crazy.
"You believe in nothing."
"I believe in that."
They continue to dance in silence. She rests her head on his shoulder. He rests his hands on her ass.
"We were never supposed to wind up like this."
His voice is barely a whisper and yet she can hear him. She reflects on how they were

Dimpled Boys Bring Heartbreak
When we met, I was eight and you were ten.
I don't remember how you looked back then or how you spoke. You can. But I'm not you.
-
When we start talking again, you're fourteen and I'm twelve.
I meet your mother again at Subway. I pretend to remember your name, the way your name sounds and everything good about you. I promise her that I'll catch up with you. That was the only honest word I said. Shoving a mediocre sub down, I search you up on Facebook. I had promised myself that if you were attractive, I'd friend you and message you. And if not...well no hard feelings right? It's not like we were close before.
You're gorgeous. You have dimp

You're an ocean in one drop.
You are not alone in this life. Take the time to realise those who may be counting on your strength, those whose heads fit perfectly on your shoulders, those who need your arms to hold them up.
You may be one person in the world, but you could mean the entire world to another, in many different forms. Company is what it comes down to; someone you can be alone with, someone you choose to spend your moments with, people who are more than a chapter in your story, those who are main characters, those who move you, those who linger on.
If you were really alone in this world, you wouldn’t feel alone; you’d feel complete, strong, immens
The grand scheme of things, ready?
We begin in your room, we zoom out to your house, your street, your neighbourhood, your city, your state, your country, your region. We continue to zoom out, a little faster now; oceans, mountains, deserts, waterfalls, ice lands, copious amounts of land, clouds. Suddenly we’re in space, we pass our sun, the milky way, the next nebula, stars, planets, asteroids, particles…
Stop.
In the infinity of the Universe, we’re but a speck.
Let’s give this speck a shape, sphere? Ok.
Let’s say it’s the Earths size –– so we can put it into quick perspective.
In this Univ
The vastness of opportunity, is infinite. Opportunities are what others are too afraid to do, what others have not yet done, what has been given up on, open spots in the lane of life. We spend so much time doubting ourselves and our potential, while persistently patting ourselves on the back for accomplishing mediocrities that anyone could do. We diminish ourselves, we limit ourselves, we contain ourselves within confines that are entirely self - inflicted, because we’re too scared of what could happen if we actually get what we want.
Fear dulls down your light, it feels like life holding you at gunpoint –– you can’t
You stare at the pen suspended above the paper.
You lower it slowly, what was the question anyway?
Was this suppose to be typed?
Fingers hover over the keyboard.
Eyes drift closed before snapping open.
You have to do the work.
Fingers drum on the desk.
You fidget in your seat.
Focus.
Tired eyes bore into the screen.
The bright light from the blank document glares back.
You can not write.
Head clutched in hands you let out a sigh.
You need to finish your assignment.
Teeth grind, concentrate.
You need to finish your assignment.
Finish your assignment.
